A Surprise Visit from Celebrity Chef Matt Tebbutt
In August, celebrity chef and BBC Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt joined us with his family for a special celebration, and left us a five-star review.
You never quite know who might walk through the doors at SONA at The Celtic Manor Resort, and in August we had a particularly welcome surprise when celebrity chef and BBC Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt joined us with his family for a special family celebration.
Knowing that Matt was there to enjoy an evening with his family, our priority was to allow them to relax and experience SONA just like any other guests. We couldn't resist asking for his thoughts afterwards, though, and receiving positive feedback from someone with such extensive experience of food and hospitality meant a great deal to the whole team. What happened next was even more special. Completely unprompted, Matt shared his SONA experience with his huge Instagram following and subsequently left us a five-star public review.
For a new restaurant finding its feet, moments like this are incredibly rewarding. We want SONA to be somewhere people choose for celebrations, family gatherings and memorable evenings together, whether they're visiting from around the corner or happen to be one of the country's best-known chefs.
